THE MOONLIGHT CLUB (ALBUM)
Following the 2015 release of their Words in Gold EP, The Moonlight Club is back and ready to release their self-titled debut album. Recorded in Montreal's Plateau at Breakglass Studios and the result of a nine day recording session, the album was produced by David Smith (Patrick Watson, Elephant Stone, Leif Vollebekk) and its artwork was done by Montreal artist Olivier Chartrand.
The result of a nine day recording session, The Moonlight Club emerged with their first official single "A Little Too Easy" on November 10th, 2017, and a second single "Are You Up" early January, promoting the album that will be out on February 2nd, 2018.
Following the release of the music video for A Little Too Easy and their single Are You Up, The Moonlight Club is back with a video for their track Tonight. Written in 2013 by François Mireault after a personal tribulation, Tonight is about believing in yourself when the world around you is changing.
The music video was primarily recorded on an old VHS camera. It's a nod to all of us who've wanted to grab a camera and go out and make stuff late into the night with our friends. The video is a collaboration between François Rousseau (drums) and Laurie TB (creative director).
Words in gold (EP)
The Moonlight Club's first EP, 'Words In Gold' was recorded and mixed at at Montreal’s infamous Breakglass Studios by David Smith in May 2015. The artwork is a unique collaboration with local art director Olivier Charland and the photography is the work of Martin Côté, another upcoming local artist.
NASHVILLE SESSIONS (EP)
The following session was recorded on a sunny Sunday afternoon in East Nashville in March 2016. It features three songs from our first EP, Words In Gold, and a cover of famous Montrealer, Lenoard Cohen.
